Pick two numbers. Get a doodle.

I trained a variational autoencoder on 240,000 doodles from Google’s Quick, Draw!: cats, pizzas, bicycles, sailboats and sixteen more. It had to squeeze every drawing into just two numbers. Give it two and it draws whatever it thinks lives there. Between −3 and 3 you’re on the map; further out, it improvises.

The decoder is waiting for two numbers.

The decoder runs entirely in your browser. Doodles: Quick, Draw! dataset by Google, CC BY 4.0.
